“Sad Girl AZ was built from resilience, creativity, and cultura. I’m a proud Chicana/Native American from Phoenix, Arizona with a love for oldies, lowriders, family, and old school values. Like many people, I’ve been through hard times, heartbreak, rebuilding, and starting over — but instead of giving up, I turned my story into art.
What started as a passion for custom shirts became a way to express identity, strength, humor, memories, and barrio pride. Every design comes from the heart and represents real life, real people, and real culture. Sad Girl AZ is more than clothing — it’s about community, loyalty, healing, and staying true to yourself no matter what life throws at you.”

Story
Starting over isn't for the weak. It's one of the hardest things a person can do, especially as a woman. There was a time in my life when I felt like I had everything, and then life reminded me that everything can change in an instant. I had a choice: stay stuck in what I had lost, or rebuild my life one step at a time. I chose to rebuild.
Sad Girl AZ wasn't created because life was perfect. It was created because I refused to let my struggles define my future. What started as a small vision slowly became a dream, and that dream is now becoming a reality. Every design I create represents resilience, culture, loyalty, respect, and the belief that no matter where life takes you, you should never forget where you came from.
Above everything else, I put God first. My faith has carried me through some of the most difficult chapters of my life and continues to guide me every day. I was raised by my Nana, who taught me the value of hard work, humility, kindness, and earning everything you have. Those lessons became the foundation of who I am, and they continue to shape the woman and business owner I strive to be.
I'm a proud mother to an amazing daughter, and she has been one of my greatest inspirations to keep moving forward. I also wouldn't be where I am today without the incredible people who have believed in me—my family, my friends, my supporters, and every follower who has encouraged me to keep chasing this dream. Your support reminds me every day that dreams really can become reality.
Giving back has always been part of my heart. Whether it's donating my time, helping a family in need, feeding someone who's hungry, providing clothing, or organizing community events for children, I believe that success means very little if we don't lift others along the way. My mission has never been just to sell apparel. My mission is to build a brand that inspires hope, celebrates our culture, and creates opportunities to give back to the communities that have given so much to me.
As Sad Girl AZ continues to grow, I look forward to meeting people at local events, traveling to other cities and states, sharing my creativity, and continuing to build something that makes people feel proud of who they are. Every shirt, every design, every conversation, and every community event is another step forward in this journey.
